Valuations: Why should you have your jewellery valued? Valuation of new jewellery? What should valuation contain? Who should value your jewellery?	The Highland's only experienced independent gemmological laboratory, was founded in 1984 to serve the jewellery trade, the jewellery buying public, the legal profession, the insurance industry , banks and government agencies. It is operated and maintained by Dave Hanna, F.G.G., R.J.Dip., Graduate Gemologist. He was certified by the Deutsche Gemmologische Gesselschaft (German Institute for Advanced Professional Training in Gemmology) in 1984 and the National Association of Goldsmiths in 1996. We enjoy a reputation for gemmological expertise, careful, fair, reliable grading, and accurate assessments. This reputation was built on uncompromising adherence to ethical standards.
